Véronique Godot Véronique Godot

Véronique Godot, PhD, is full professor of Immunology at the University of Paris-Est Créteil since 2012. From 2015 to 2016, she was visiting professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of North Carolina (USA). In the last years, she has conducted researches on mononuclear phagocytic and dendritic cells in various clinical conditions (HIV, allergy, sepsis). At the VRI, she has developed several preclinical models (transgenic, humanized and genetically modified mice) with the aim to develop new immune system-modulating therapies targeting host factors or dendritic cells. She capitalized on these tools to dissect the mechanisms of actions of various vaccines developed at the VRI. She was intrumental in the training program of the VRI by chairing  Master’s program in immunology (since 2012) and in Vaccinology (since 2015).
