Valérie Lapierre
Valerie Lapierre, MD, PhD, is the Director of the Cell Therapy Center of Gustave Roussy (GR) Institute. For more than twelve years, Valerie Lapierre, in this position, is in charge of hematopoietic stem cell through an integrated GMP compliant process in hematologic cancers and in solid tumors.
The GR Cell Therapy Center has been approved by French regulatory agencies and has proven its ability to set up innovative therapeutic approaches contributing to several innovative immunotherapy in cancer and infectious diseases. Dr Lapierre and the GR Cell Therapy Center have been selected to joint the VRI for the production of ex vivo DCs. Her expertise was intrumental for the development of ex vivo dendritic cell VRI’s therapeutic vaccines.
