Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC) is the largest multidisciplinary university in the Paris east area, where Medicine, health and biomedical research field are one of the main areas of development of the university.
UPEC stands out with its comprehensive programs and state-of-the-art research. The university houses 33 research centers, and 16 faculties, schools and institutes, for a student population of over 36,000. The biology-health sector alone represents 7 laboratories, including a joint university/INSERM unit, the IMRB (Mondor Institute for Biomedical Research), which brings together 15 teams for a total staff of 600 people (research teachers and researchers, technical staff, doctoral students).
