Christine Lacabaratz
Christine Lacabaratz, PhD, has a long experience in cellular immunology. She contributed to the description of HIV specific cellular responses in cohorts of HIV-1 infected individuals. She joined the Inserm U-955 unit in 2008 and the VRI since its creation in charge of immuno-monitoring. For this, she developed several innovative assays which were instrumental for the evaluation of immune responses in volunteers involved in VRI’s vaccine clinical trials in Europe and Africa and in cohort of patients (HIV, CoVID, tuberculosis). She acts as the principal investigator of the development of a candidate vaccine against Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
